May 16, 2021

On March 15th after a morning of mowing grass and doing everyday things at 2:30 in the afternoon l had a massive pain in the center of my chest and down both arms. We rushed to emergency room of small hospital near my home. After five hours and several attempts to get me into a Hospital, I was transfered to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Huntington WV. Straight into the CATH lab. Thankfully the surgeon recognized the SCAD for what it was and didn’t attempt to put a stent in. Four days in ICU blood thinners
I’m good to go. Still wondering how this happened I’m not in bad physical condition but I am not a marathon runner. I have controlled high blood pressure, Under Active Thyroid, slight high sugar, high cholesterol.
Everything is under control but still SCAD. FYI I had my second COVID shoot four days before the attack.
