I was laying down watching a show killing time before it was time for me to get ready for work. After I got dressed, my heart started to hurt. It wasn’t bad at first but then, my back, armpits, arms and jaw all became numb. Immediately I looked up my symptoms and it lead me to that I was having a heart attack. I got to the emergency room, and on the way to get my blood drawn I fainted.
My cardiac enzymes were elevated and the ER I was at didn’t have the right tools for further diagnosis so they transported me to a better hospital. After an echocardiogram & an angiogram they seen the tear in my coronary artery. Beta blockers, aspirin & cardiac rehab for treatment.
I’m so beyond blessed to have survived this. In my 23 years of living this has been the scariest thing I’ve experienced
