There are several ways you can help raise awareness about SCAD including:
Sharing Voices of SCAD videos on social media
A special thanks to Nick D’Orazio for creating the Voices of SCAD series. These stories were captured at the 5Ks in FL and IL. Watch for more Voices of SCAD videos in the near future.
Printing and distributing these SCAD flyers
- General Information – geared to the general public to raise awareness and the need for research
- Medical Information – geared to medical professionals such as emergency room, cardiologists, physicians, OB/GYNs
- EMT Information – geared to EMTs, the first responders
Sharing your own SCAD story
Reach out to your local newspaper, TV and radio station offering to share your SCAD story or write up and submit your SCAD story online or by mail. Many newspapers have news online as well and welcome submitted articles. Including a picture with your article helps to attract attention to your article.
