As the new president of the board, I am very honored and very proud to say that we have continued to make great strides over the last nine months, and will continue the great work of the previous board going forward. We have elected six new board members, for a total of nine Board Members. The new members bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our organization.
The Board is in the process of developing committees to help grow our mission of raising funds for research as well as expand education and awareness. We have big plans for 2024, so keep checking in as we start to roll out these plans throughout the year.
In 2023, thanks to the generosity of many and the hard work of those who organized five SCADaddles throughout the country, we raised over $100K to be donated to the Mayo Clinic to help them in their research for answers. We will announce before year end what our total donation will be.
We look forward to 2024 as we continue in our quest to raise the much-needed funds to help in research as well as bring awareness education to everyone. The Board of Directors wish you and your family a very happy holiday and a Happy New Year!
