Our 2024 5k SCADaddle© for Research run/walks are gearing up thanks to an amazing group of volunteers! SCADaddles are not just fundraisers, they are opportunities to get together, have fun and support each other. All SCADaddles are open to the public. So, invite your neighbors, family and friends to join you.
A SCADaddle t-shirt is included for those who register by a specified date. Refreshments are also included along with lots of fun!
Can’t make it in person? No problem…every SCADaddle has an option to participate virtually at no charge. We encourage virtual participants to create a fundraising page and raise funds for research.

Plans are underway for all six SCADaddles in 2024. Registration is now open for:
- Texas, College Station (April 20), register by 3/31 to guarantee t-shirt
- Minnesota, Twin Cities (May 11), register by 4/11 to guarantee t-shirt
- Maryland, Solomons Island (May 18) register by 5/5 to guarantee t-shirt
- Illinois, Chicagoland (June 22), register by 5/15 to guarantee t-shirt
Other SCADaddles being planned are California (Sept. 7) and Pennsylvania (Oct. 6)
Events for Survivors, Their Supporters and SCAD Angel Families/Friends
Most of our SCADaddles include a get together (SCAD Reunion) for SCAD survivors, their supporters and those who lost a loved one to SCAD (our SCAD Angels). Check the registration page for SCAD Reunion details.
