As we look forward to a new year, we want to pause for a few minutes to celebrate our 2023 $145,000 donation to the groundbreaking SCAD research at Mayo Clinic under the leadership of Dr. Sharonne Hayes. Thank you to everyone who has helped to raise this fantastic amount of money to advance research.
The main sources of this year’s funds include:
- 2023 SCADaddle for Research run/walks – West Coast/SanDiego, Minnesota, National/Chicago Area, Michigan, and Greater Lehigh Valley/PA. A big shoutout to the 5k chairs/co-chairs
- Foundations and Corporations including matching gifts
- Individual donations
- Sales from our SCAD Store
- Birthday Fundraisers through Facebook
Thanks to you, we have awarded over $1.45 million to advance research since we started in 2011. Most of these funds have been donated to Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. Mayo Clinic was the first institution to focus research specifically on SCAD.
