Sunday morning coffee, start to get up for another cup and have a dull, constant pain across my shoulder blades and upper chest . After waiting 2 to 3 minutes without any relief we call 911. Thank goodness we didn’t wait any longer. After a heart cath and angiogram it was determined it was SCAD. I am a 50 year old female. Not overly active but healthy. No high cholesterol , obesity or high blood pressure. Now 2 weeks post attack I am confused and admittedly nervous about a reoccurrence since the causes are so indefinite.
