Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we have raised a little over $7500 in less than 3 weeks!
Thank you to those who made a donation, large or small, to meet the goal and take advantage of the full match!
We especially appreciate our very generous survivor, who wishes to remain anonymous, for this challenge. The survivor started with a 5,000 challenge in part to celebrate her 5-year anniversary since her SCAD. She also said that when she joined the SCAD Survivor Only Facebook page there were around 1,000 members and now the page has over 5000 members. This growth indicates a growing awareness of SCAD.
When we reached the $5000 match with time to spare, she increased the match to $7500. Again, we reached $7500 with time to spare. Funds raised will help to advance research to find answers.
