I am morbid obesity. Seen a bariatric Doctor for possible surgery. After being told insurance would not cover and cost is $15,000, I was determined not to give up and started seeing a personal trainer the week of my 42nd Birthday, exercising 5-6 days a week for an hour each time. On Friday March 15th I got into a very big fight with my son and his fiancé. Started having tingling in left arm that had my fingertips tingling that lasted an hour. I assumed it was a pinch nerved. It felt like a sciatic nerve pain.

On Tuesday March 19, 2019 the pain started again. I was visiting my mother in rehab who had a knee replacement on March 15, 2019 and decided my nausea was from not eating lunch, ran errands when neck pain started and I took 800mg ibuprofen and 100mg neurontin.

An hour later I couldn’t handle the pain anymore and headed to Urgent Care where APN sent me to ER. Labs and EKG were taken and I was admitted due to troponin level 0.135. Labs redrawn at 1am and nurses rushed in room at 3 am asking if I was having chest pain troponin level 6.737. 7am echocardiogram and cath lab by 9am where I was told I had a heart attack and it’s called SCAD and what’s even more rare is I was born with an extra LAD which is what saved my life.

Today is March 23, 2019 and I was just released home.
