Join us at our 1st annual timed run/walk to raise money for much needed research on the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50 – spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD).

The SCADaddle© run/walk starts at 9:00am at Patterson Farm Market & Tours in Mount Ulla, NC – approx. 35 miles NE of Charlotte. Enjoy running/walking on a dirt and grass trail around farm fields in production.

All runners & walkers will be timed. Awards will be given to overall winner male and female. Medals will be given to 2nd and 3rd place male/female overall and to the top three males/females for age groups: 11 and under; 12-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+

All registered participants will receive a 5K t-shirt (must register by September 1st to guarantee your t-shirt) and a wristband to enjoy the farm afterwards.

In addition to the 5K, we have a special Saturday lunch planned at Patterson Farm after the 5K for SCAD Survivors, their supporters and families whose loved ones did not survive (our SCAD Angels). This is a great way to meet others and establish lasting friendships.

Unable to Attend and Want to Support

If you are unable to join us in person at our North Carolina 5K, you can sponsor a fellow survivor or family member impacted by SCAD; attend one of our other 5Ks; participate virtually or donate directly to SCAD Research, Inc. Virtual participants receive a 5K t-shirt and have an opportunity to set up a personal fundraising page to raise funds for research.
