Join us at our 1st annual Fun Run/Walk to raise money for much needed research on the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50 – spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD).

The SCADaddle© fun run/walk starts at 9:00am at beautiful Lake St. Clair Metropark in Harrison Township – approx. 20 miles NE of downtown Detroit. The paved trail goes through woods and along the shoreline of Lake St. Clair!

In addition to the 5K, there will be refreshments, opportunities to purchase tickets to win a quilt or baskets, face painting & fun for the whole family!

The 5K fun run/walk will take place on a paved course through woods and along the shore of Lake St. Clair. Relax and enjoy refreshments afterwards. There will also be opportunities to purchase tickets for drawings on a quilt.

When you register, please consider forming a team and/or personalizing your fundraising page. You can email a link to your fundraising or team page to those you know as well as post on social media.

If you are unable to join us in person at our Michigan 5K, you can sponsor a fellow survivor or family member impacted by SCAD; attend one of our other 5Ks; participate virtually or donate directly to SCAD Research, Inc. Virtual participants receive a 5K t-shirt and have an opportunity to set up a personal fundraising page to raise funds for research.
