New for 2020…Virtual SCADaddle & Mayo SCAD@Home

August 31, 2020

Virtual SCADaddle & Mayo SCAD@Home
COVID-19 has challenged most of us to think out of the box. This year’s SCADaddles are no exception as we made the difficult decision to postpone all in-person SCADaddles until 2021 and organize an expanded virtual event instead

We are so excited to announce our new, expanded Virtual SCADaddle & Mayo SCAD@Home on October 16-17. Registration is now open and we hope you can join us!

There are three fun parts to our Virtual SCADaddle weekend:

  • Two Socials (Fri. & Sat. evenings) on Zoom especially for survivors and families of SCAD Angels
  • SCADaddle (Sat. morning) on Zoom – run/walk/bike wherever you are, as far as you want
  • Mayo Clinic SCAD Research Presentation (Sat. afternoon) on Facebook Live with Q&A

You can register for part or all of the weekend. Registered participants will be emailed links to the various events about a week prior to the weekend.

Our goal is to recreate the camaraderie found during our in-person weekends while raising money for much needed research. We encourage all participants to create a personal fundraising and/or team page and help raise funds for much needed research.

This year’s SCADaddle t-shirt designed by Castello Creative reflects our virtual SCADaddle …Virtual Distance. Real Research. T-shirts can be ordered during registration. Register and order a t-shirt by 9/26 to receive it in time for the weekend.

Thank you to our sponsors especially Nationwide: Pinkert Family Foundation and Anonymous Family Foundation, Presenting: Blue Cross Blue Shield – Michigan and Supporting: Catalina Marketing.
