National 5K SCADaddle a Success – Three SCADaddles© to Go – PA, CA, MN!

July 1, 2018

Our 7th annual National 5K SCADaddle© for Research on June 2 in Wheaton, IL was very successful, raising over $50,000 for research! There were 330 participants registered including 48 survivors. Family and friends also attended in memory of four SCAD Angels.

If you were unable to attend the SCADaddles© in Florida or Illinois or even if you have, we hope you will join us at one of these remaining SCADaddles©. Each weekend includes special SCAD Reunion events for survivors, their supporters and families whose loved ones did not survive (SCAD Angels).

Click these links for details and to register for the 5K and SCAD Reunion events:

If you cannot attend in person, you can be with us in spirit as a virtual participant. Virtual participants have been with us on treadmills, walking or running in their neighborhood or just reaching out to friends and family to raise money for SCAD Research! There is no charge to participate virtually. You also have the flexibility to choose a different date or time if you prefer.

**Researcher(s) from Mayo Clinic SCAD Research Program (Rochester, MN) will present their latest findings to all interested after the 5K in CA and MN.

If you can help in any way, please contact us through our website or email scadinfo@scadresearch.org. Many things can be done remotely. We are always looking for sponsors or donations to our silent auctions.

The SCADaddle© for Research events are opportunities to meet others who have been impacted by SCAD while raising money to help find answers about SCAD. The more funds we raise, the more answers will be discovered!
